Since graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications, Megan Winslow’s career has flown her to New York City to cover Bernard Madoff’s plea hearing, sent her to jail to interview a convicted serial killer and whisked her off to Haiti to photograph the aftermath of the country’s devastating 2010 earthquake. She managed web content and social media for Food For The Poor, the largest international charity in the U.S., before taking a break to travel the world with her husband. Winslow served as a writer, photographer, social media specialist and photo editor for the Los Altos Town Crier newspaper in Silicon Valley for nearly seven years before returning to Florida in 2022. She is currently a freelance photographer and reporter working in the Gainesville area.
